Who is DMS Excavation?

and how did we get here?

DMS Excavation was established in 2020 by owner Dan Snell. At only 21 years old Dan was a self-made man with an excavator and a dream. With previous construction experience and years of operating experience on his family's dairy farm (shoutout Austin Farms of Barker, NY!) Dan was inspired to make something of himself and create a legacy to leave behind. Six years later, Dan has expanded from a one man operation to a full time commercial crew and co-owns the company with his wife Gwenna. DMS is starting a blog to share some of the good (and inevitably not so good) parts of building a commercial construction crew in your 20's. Maybe you're a previous client who came across our page to leave a review - or maybe you're a young couple doing the same thing we are. Either way, we're happy you're here.
