You may have seen some of our equipment at the Lyndonville High School recently - or maybe you were in town and heard some loud noises nearby. Yes, that's us, (more specifically our foreman Cody) knocking down a building on the schools property.
DMS Excavation is doing all of the demo, erosion control, site preparation, foundation digging and concrete for the Lyndonville CSD Capital Improvement Project.
The project kicked off in February with us installing a 620' long temporary access road for all future on site contractors to use. We set up all site erosion control and then an asbestos abatement company came in to remove any asbestos from the roof of the building we are taking down before we could demo. Now, demo has officially started while the school is on Spring Break. Once that's complete we will be digging the foundations for the new building going up in the old one's place.
Stay tuned for more updates!
